Industrial Extension Springs

Extension springs (also known as tension springs) are helical components with adjacent coils, designed to absorb and store energy by resisting axial tensile forces. When the external force is removed, the spring returns to its original length, ensuring the retraction or tensioning of mechanical components with maximum precision.

Data required for bidding and design:

d – Wire diameter.
De – The outer diameter of the spring body.
Lk – Length of the spring body (only the area of tight turns, without hooks).
L₀ – Total length of the bow (measured from inside the two attachment points).
Mesh position – The angle between the eyes (e.g. parallel at 0° or crosswise at 90°/180°).
